Hellums Tabbed CCS Rookie of the Week
WILMORE, Ky. --- On Monday afternoon, the Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) announced its weekly awards, highlighting freshman biology pre-med major Anna Hellums as the CCS Rookie of the Week.
Hellums, a Clarksville, Tenn., native, turned in a well-rounded performance throughout the Eagles' three-game week, averaging 8.7 points and 4.6 rebounds.
The freshman guard totaled 26 points, 14 rebounds, 10 assists, five steals, and five blocks; highlighted by six rebounds in two separate games and a six-assist outing against Centre.
The Eagles will play in the Transyvlania Classic on November 29-30 in Lexington, Ky., with games against Muskingum and Transyvlania University.
