Sizemore Leads Asbury to Season-High in Points; Edged by Muskingum, 89-81

STORY - THE ESSENTIALS
LEXINGTON, Ky. --- The Asbury women's basketball team (1-5, 0-0 CCS) was lead by junior elementary education major Emily Sizemore, who scored a season-high 28 points, but fell 89-81 to Muskingum University (2-1, 0-0 OAC) in Lexington, Ky., on Saturday night.

The game began with Muskingum taking an early lead with a score of 18-17 at the end of the first period. The first quarter saw notable plays including a series of layups by Sizemore, contributing significantly to the Eagles' efforts. By halftime, Muskingum had extended their lead to 41-32.

In the third period, Muskingum further solidified their advantage, outscoring the Eagles and extending their lead to 64-55. Notable efforts from the Eagles included a 3-pointer by junior Ma'Kiya West, but it wasn't enough to close the gap significantly.
