Asbury University

The MVP program is about creating a way for students who have a passion for athletics to be involved and provide value to the Asbury Athletics Department. This is an opportunity for students to be a part of a team, where you can be more known and connected in your time at AU. MVP members will be working together weekly, and sometimes daily to continue to build into the overall experience that Asbury Athletics provides. MVPs will get the unique opportunity to develop their skills and talents in sports management, sports information, and sports broadcasts on live events for Asbury. MVP team members will work directly with TeamAU graduate assistants and AU's Director of Athletic Communications. As an athletics department, our desire is to equip and empower MVPs to provide impact in our athletics department and graduate with excellent experience and preparation for their career to come. 

• Statistician (basketball, baseball, soccer, softball, volleyball, lacrosse, swim)
• Scoreboard/shot clock operator
• PA Announcer/Event Music DJ (starting lineups, in-game PA, etc.)
• Coordinator/Lead Talent for student contests at sporting events
• Camera operators for Asbury Sports Digital Network
• Broadcast Team (play-by-play and color commentary on Asbury Digital Network)
• Sideline Reporter
• Asbury Digital Network Livestream director
• Graphic Designers for TeamAU social media graphics and asburyeagles.com website
• Photography at all TeamAU events
• Website Content building (Ex. player/coach bios, team schedules, team hype videos, etc.)
