Steiniger Tabbed CCS Defensive Player of the Week
ATLANTA, Ga. --- On Tuesday afternoon, the Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) announced its weekly awards, highlighting junior sport management major Peyton Steiniger at the CCS Defensive Player of the Week.
Steiniger a Middletown, Ohio, native, started both matches in goal for Asbury and helped the Eagles earn a scoreless draw against Spalding for her first clean sheet of the season.
Steiniger followed with four saves against Ohio Wesleyan, allowing just one goal in a 1-0 setback after facing 18 shots.
