Rogers Tabbed CCS Rookie of the Week

ATLANTA, Ga. --- On Monday afternoon, the Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) announced its weekly awards, highlighting art and design major Elyanna Rogers as the CCS Rookie of the Week.

Rogers, a Dayton, Va., native, sparked AU's offense during a 5-1 week, delivering consistent production across six games. She went 8-for-18 at the plate (.444), scoring seven runs, driving in four, and adding two doubles and four bases.

Rogers also recorded two multi-hit performances of three of more hits, helping ignite the Eagles' lineup. Rogers currently ranks second on the team in both batting average (.450) and on-base percentage (.500).
