Sparks Earns CCS Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week
ATLANTA, Ga. --- The Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) announced on Tuesday afternoon their weekly awards, highlighting Asbury junior biology major Anna Sparks as the CCS Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week.
Sparks, a Berkeley Lake, Ga., native, continued her strong playmaking, tallying four assists across two matches last week. She dished out three assists in a midweek win over Franklin before assisting on the lone goal in Saturday's match against LaGrange.
Anna also recorded three shots on goal during the week and currently leads the CCS with six assists on the season.
The Eagles will host Maryville College on Wednesday night in Wilmore, Ky, at 7 pm, looking to go 4-0 in conference play.
