Bluegrass Orthopaedics Student-Athletes of the Week
WILMORE, Ky. --- Asbury men's soccer senior sport management major,
Jon Gordon, and women's soccer freshman business administration major,
Ryan King, have been named the Asbury Student-Athletes of the week, presented by Bluegrass Orthopaedics Sports Medicine.
Jon Gordon | Men's Soccer
Gordon, a Richmond, Ky., native, found the back of the net for the second time this season in the match against Piedmont, recording three shots. He played all 90' minutes in the last two games for the Eagles. Asbury will host Belhaven University on Saturday afternoon.
Ryan King | Women's Soccer
King, a Georgetown, Ky., native, scored the first two goals of her collegiate career in the match against Franklin. She followed up that performance by adding a shot in the team's next outing. The Eagles will travel to Agnes Scott College on Saturday afternoon at 2 p.m.
