Tinsley Earns CCS Player of the Week

ATLANTA, Ga. --- On Monday afternoon, the Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) announced its weekly awards, highlighting sophomore exercise science Moira Tinsley as the CCS Player of the Week.

Tinsley, a Ogden, Utah., native, had a powerful performance at the plate, helping AU to a 2-2 week. She batted a .462 (6-for-13) while posting an impressive 1.154 slugging percentage, highlighted by three home runs and six RBIs.

Tinsley's standout moment came in a key conference win over Agnes Scott, where she launched two home runs to help secure the Eagles' fifth CCS victory. She also scored five runs on the week and struck out just once, while maintaining a perfect fielding percentage defensively.
