Bonow Qualifies for NCAA National Championships for Second Consecutive Year
INDIANAPOLIS, In. --- Sophomore business administration major Ethan Bonow was invited to the National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA) Division-III National Championship on March 18-21 in Indianapolis, In., to compete in the 50 & 100 freestyle and the 100 butterfly.
The qualifying times at the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) meet present Bonow with the opportunity to compete at the NCAA National level for a second straight season.
He set several school records at the SCAC Championships last week including the Men's 100 Freestyle at 44.38 (NCAA B Standard) the Men's 50 Freestyle, at 20.00 (NCAA B Standard), and the Men's 100 Butterfly at 47.36 (NCAA B standard). Bonow's 50 free and 100 butterfly time also set a meet record for the SCAC.
