Gassmann Earns CCS Runner of the Week
ATLANTA, Ga. --- The Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) announced their weekly awards on Monday afternoon, with Asbury women's cross country junior social work and adventure education and leadership double major Bailey Gassmann earning Runner of the Week for the second time this season.
Gassmann, a Churchville, Pa., native had a strong performance at the Spoon Fiercely Faithful Meet, placing fourth overall with a 6K time of 24:14.79. She trailed only three NCAA Division I runners in the 46-competitor field.
Asbury will compete in the Live in Louisville event on October 4 at the University of Louisville.
