Bluegrass Orthopaedics Student-Athletes of the Week
WILMORE, Ky. --- Asbury men's track and field freshman exercise science major,
Tyson Absher, and women's track and field senior elementary education major,
Brooke O'Carroll, have been named the Asbury Student-Athletes of the week, presented by Bluegrass Orthopaedics Sports Medicine.
Tyson Absher | Men's Track and Field
Absher, a Somerset, Ky., native, set an indoor school record in the 200-meter with a time of 23.46. He also ran a time of 7.17 in the 60-meter dash, which qualified him for the NCCAA National Championship meet.
Brooke O'Carroll | Women's Track and Field
O'Carroll, a Geneva, Ill., native, ran a 6.03.80 in the mile to finish in third. The Eagles next meet is January 24 at the Centre Indoor Showcase in Danville, Ky.
