Chick-fil-A Featured Athletes | Caleb Payne and Sidney Haysley
WILMORE, Ky.--- Asbury's Chick-fil-A featured student-athletes this month
are sophomore exercise science major,
Caleb Payne, and senior communications major,
Sidney Haysley. These two student-athletes are standouts in both their athletics and community by highlighting the Asbury mission to serve, train, and compete for the glory of God.
Caleb Payne - Men's Track and Field | So. | Bardstown, KY
What is your major and what career aspirations do you plan to pursue?
I am majoring in exercise science with a minor in education. My career aspiration is to become a Health and P.E. Teacher
Why did you choose Asbury?
I chose Asbury because it is a place that I knew I would grow close to God while also getting an education and competing in the sport that I love.
How do you enjoy spending your time outside of athletics?
Outside of athletics, I enjoy hanging out with friends and family, going to the gym, playing other sports (basketball, volleyball, pickleball), and even cooking.
What have been the highlights of your experience at AU so far?
Being able to go to the Set Apart Retreat with my friends and grow even closer to Jesus.
What is your favorite Bible verse or passage?
"But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you." - Matthew 6:33
Sidney Haysley - Volleyball I Sr. I Louisville, KY 
What is your major and what career aspirations do you plan to pursue?
I am majoring in communications and public relations. My career aspirations is to work in sports or event planning.
Why did you choose Asbury?
I chose Asbury because it is close to home and located in beautiful central Kentucky. I love the communications program, and I wanted to come play for the program Tiffany was building here.
How do you enjoy spending your time outside of athletics?
I love to spend time with family and friends and having movie nights!
What have been the highlights of your experience at AU so far?
Beating Centre last year was exciting, also watching Dancing with the Stars on the way home this year after sweeping Covenant. I also love silent disco!
