NICHOLASVILLE, Ky. – The Asbury University men's tennis team was edged 4-3 to (RV) Southwestern on Tuesday afternoon at Top Seed Tennis Club.
Unlike yesterday, the Eagles were unable to win the doubles point and lost two of the three opening matches. One of those loses was a close 7-6 tiebreaker defeat at No. 1 doubles.
In singles, Asbury got wins at the top of their lineup from
Joshua Turnquest and
Choopat Suvimolstean.
Rodrigo Cavero notched his first win in singles play this year with a 6-2, 6-3 win at No. 5 singles.
