HILTON HEAD, SC. --- Asbury men's (6-5, 3-0 CCS) and women's tennis (6-4, 3-0 CCS) both had their four game win-streaks snapped to Quincy University in game two of their spring break trip on Wednesday morning.
Both teams fell to the Hawks 5-2.

The Eagles opened the day in doubles play, where the pairing of Ignacio Ardiles and Franco Patino dropped the No. 1 position 6-3, while Alejo Britos and Victor Pereira fell 6-4 at No. 3.
Asbury's lone doubles victory came at No. 2, where Andres Caceres and Ben Moore rallied for a 7-6 (7-6), 7-1 win to secure a point for the Eagles.
Trailing 1-0 entering singles, Asbury looked to make a push against the Hawks strong lineup. Ben Moore fell at No. 1 singles in straight sets, while Patino was also defeated in straight sets at No. 2. The Eagles showed resilience in several tightly contested matches, particularly at No. 3, No. 4, and No. 5 singles.
Ardiles battled through a marathon three-set match at No. 3, pushing to a deciding tiebreak before narrowly falling 10-1.
Britos (No. 4) and Caceres (No. 5) each forced third-set super tiebreaks as well, grabbing the two lone points for the Eagles on the day.
Murillo rounded out the lineup at No. 6 with a strong effort, extending his match to two competitive sets but ultimately falling 7-6 (7-4) in the second.

The Eagles opened the match in doubles play, where Quincy secured the early advantage by sweeping all three positions. Alexandra Garcia and Katherine Nova battled at No. 1 doubles but came up just short, 7-5, while Ariadna Zegarra and Malory Watkins pushed their match at No. 2 before falling in straight sets.
Maryalice McVey and Isabella Sanchez rounded out doubles play at No. 3.
Trailing 1-0, Asbury responded with strong efforts in singles, highlighted by a pair of victories. Zegarra delivered a solid performance at No. 2 singles, earning a straight-set win, 6-3, 6-4. Sanchez added another point for the Eagles at No. 5, cruising to a 6-3, 6-0 victory.
Nova competed well at the top spot, battling in her opening set before falling 7-5, 6-2 at No. 1. Garcia (No. 3) and Watkins (No. 4) each faced tough opposition, dropping their matches in straight sets.
At No. 6, Cara Clark provided one of the most competitive matches of the day, taking the first set in a tiebreak before Quincy responded to force a deciding super tiebreak, where Clark narrowly fell.

The women look to bounce back in game two of their doubleheader today, taking on Agnes Scott at 2 PM, the men hit the court again tomorrow March 19th against Ripon at 9 AM.
