Nova and Moore Earn CCS Player of the Week

ATLANTA, Ga. --- On Tuesday afternoon, the Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) announced its weekly awards, highlighting sophomore Katherine Nova and junior Ben Moore as the CCS Players of the Week.

Nova, a Lexington, Ky., native, led AU at the top of the lineup in a 4-0 team victory over Belhaven, earning a dominant straight-set win in singles play. Competing at the No. 1 position, Nova defeated Belhaven's Millie Gallarno 6-0, 6-0, helping secure a clean sweep for the Eagles.

Moore, a Winter Park, Fla., native, led Asbury to a 4-0 team victory over Belhaven with strong performances in both singles and doubles play. At the top of the lineup, he secured a straight-set win at No. 1 singles, defeating Belhaven's Harshith Anugonda 7-5, 6-3. Moore paired with Andres Caceres at No. 2 doubles to earn a dominant 6-0 victory, helping the Eagles sweep the doubles point.
