Asbury Volleyball Ranked No. 1 in CCS Preseason Poll
WILMORE, Ky. --- Following a championship-winning season and the program's first NCAA Division III Tournament appearance, Asbury was selected first in the 2026 Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) Women's Volleyball Preseason Poll.
The Eagles received 35 points and five first-place votes in a vote by the league's seven head coaches. Asbury enters 2026 after capturing the 2025 CCS Women's Volleyball Championship and finishing with a 22-8 overall record, including a 15-1 mark in conference play.
The Eagles secured the conference title with a five-set victory over Maryville in the championship match, earning the program's first berth in the NCAA Division III Women's Volleyball Championship. Among the returning standouts for Asbury are junior outside hitter Isabelle VandeSchraaf and junior middle blocker Abigail Bruner, both of whom earned All-Conference recognition last season.
Asbury opens the 2026 season hosting Centre College on September 1 at 7 pm.
