Asbury Volleyball Collects AVCA Team Academic Award
LEXINGTON, Ky. --- The American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) recently announced the Asbury volleyball program as a recipient of the 2025-26 AVCA Team Academic Award sponsored by INTENT.
Honoring 1,433 collegiate and high school volleyball programs across the country this year, the AVCA Academic Award required maintenance of a year-long 3.3 GPA.
Asbury volleyball reached a 3.70 overall team GPA in the 2025-26 school year, including a Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) Regular Season Championship and CCS Tournament Champions under the leadership of forth-year head coach Tiffany Horton.
The AVCA Team Academic Award marks the second for Asbury after completing its second season in the association, as a new active member of the NCAA Division III.
