VandeSchraaf Two-Time NCCAA First Team All-American
GREENVILLE, SC.--- The National Christian College Athletics Association (NCCAA) announced Tuesday morning Asbury volleyball sophomore equine science major Isabelle VandeSchraaf as a First Team All-American for a second time in her first two seasons.
VandeSchraaf, a Germantown Hills, IL., native, ranked second in the NCCAA in kills per set (3.82) and also finished in third in points per set (4.21). She was third in the Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) with 298 kills, reaching 714 kills in two seasons for AU. VandeSchraaf was also named once this season as the NCCAA Offensive Student-Athlete of the Week, and CCS First-Team All-Conference.
"What an honor for Izzy to be an All-American for the second year in a row", said Asbury volleyball hed coach Tiffany Horton. "It is so well deserved from her commitment and attitude, we couldn't be more proud of her!"
VandeSchraaf finished the season with 10 double-doubles, including double-digit kills in 18 out of 24 matches. She also set the school record for kills in a match with 32 kills in the win against Hanover on September 23, 2025, and posted a season-high 25 digs against Wilmington (OH) on August 30.
Asbury volleyball finished the 2025 season with a 22-8 record. The Eagles claimed the CCS regular season title and the CCS tournament championship. In addition, AU earned a spot in the NCAA Tournament for the first time in school history.
