Women's Soccer Student-Athletes Receive NCCAA Mideast All-Region Honors
GREENVILLE, SC.--- The National Christian College Athletics Association (NCCAA) released the 2025 Women's Soccer Mideast All-Region Team including three student-athletes from Asbury women's soccer biology major Hannah Muncie, exercise science major Maggie Perry, and sport management major Peyton Steiniger.
Muncie, a senior forward from Lexington, Ky., led the Eagles with a career-best 13 goals and finishing second in the Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS). The team captain played in 24 matches making 23 starts with 42 shots on goal for a .600 shot-on-goal percentage. She recorded four game-winning goals.
Perry, a junior defender from Lexington, Ky., led AU's defense starting in all 24 matches and a team-high 2,101 minutes played. The team captain was a key factor in leading the Eagles to nine clean sheets, also having four goals and one assist.
Steiniger, a sophomore goalkeeper from Middletown, Oh., anchored the Eagles defense with nine clean sheets, and a career-high 128 saves. She finished the season with an impressive .810 save percentage, ranking fourth in the NCCAA and first in the CCS.
