Bonow Named SCAC Swimmer of the Week
WILMORE, Ky. --- On Tuesday afternoon, the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC) announced its weekly awards, highlighting sophomore business administration major Ethan Bonow as the SCAC Co-Swimmer of the Week.
Bonow, a Crawford, Tx., native, finished the weekend with several victories and personal bests. In a dual meet action against the University of the Cumberlands, he win the 200 FR, finishing with a time of 1:44.88.
He also won the 50 FL in the knockout style bracket at the end of the meet, winning each round on the way to the final victory. His times were 23.09 in prelims, 22.73 in the semis, and 22.36 in the final round.
Bonow, in the second dual of the weekend against Lindsey Wilson University, he swam a personal best 1:01.14 in the 100 BR, won the 100 FR with a 46.17, and won the 100 FL with a 51.79.
The Eagles will return to action on Nov. 21-23 at the Centre Midseason Championships in Danville, Ky.
