WILMORE, Ky.--- The Asbury men's and women's swimming teams fell to NAIA opponent Lindsey Wilson University on Saturday afternoon in Wilmore, Ky., 325-143, in their last home meet of the 2025 fall semester. 

The Eagles began the meet with an impressive comeback win in the women's 200 medley relay (Emme Johnson, Chloe Anderson, Ruthie Ward, Mallory Taylor). 

AU sophomore business administration major Ethan Bonow took two individual victories in the 100 freestyle (46:17) and 100 butterfly (51:79). Bonow earned NCAA All-American honors in both events last year in his freshman season.

"Today was a tough day for racing. We were at the end of our second back-to-back meet weekend of the last month, and it was a late and emotionally draining night for us last night. I was so proud of the way our team fought and raced today. People were trying different things and experimenting with race strategies and doing whatever they could to overcome the fatigue of the past two weeks. It was great to see our swimmers achieve varying levels of success and push themselves in different ways today. We're praising God for the tough last 24 hours, and we're praising God that taper starts on Monday."
