Asbury Swimming Set for First Season in SCAC; Home Opener Saturday
WILMORE, Ky. --- The Asbury men's and women's swimming teams are set to begin their 2025-26 seasons on Saturday, marking their first year competing in the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference (SCAC).
The Eagles will host five home meets this season and travel on the road for five meets, beginning with their season opener in Wilmore, Ky., against Transylvania University on October 25, at 11 AM. AU home swim meets will be hosted in the Asbury Luce Center Pool, which can be viewed through this link.
Asbury is led by fourth-year head coach Graham Duncan, along with assistant coaches Emily Poll and Kane Price. Team captains for AU in 2025-26 are senior psychology major Owen Seymour, senior sport management major Braden Vincent, senior art and design major Joy Killingsworth, and sophomore business administration major Morgan Stephenson.

AU is coming off a 2024-25 season that included the first-ever Asbury student-athlete to compete in an NCAA Division III Championship, Ethan Bonow. The sophomore business administration major from Crawford, Tx., is poised for his second year in the purple and white after receiving NCAA Division III All-American honors in his freshman campaign.
Asbury returns several key contributors from last season, who are eager for the new opportunity in the SCAC. The Eagles also welcome 10 freshmen, six women and four men, who will look to make an immediate impact in Asbury's first year in the conference.
