GREENWOOD, In. --- Asbury women's and men's swimming teams had five student-athletes named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) 2024-25 Academic All-District Teams.
Asbury women's swimmers Chloe Anderson, Sarah Finlayson, Emme Johnson, and Jocelyn Schulte qualified for the distinction as well as men's swimmer Owen Seymour.
The 2024-25 Academic All-District Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving Teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in the pool and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America program separately recognizes honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
To be eligible for Academic All-District recognition, student-athletes must be at least a sophomore with a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher, and have competed in four competitions or finish top eight at the conference meet.
The five are now qualified in voting for the CSC Academic All-American ballot that will be released in early April.
