Eli Wilder's six strikeouts in five innings and 18 hits for the Asbury baseball (10-11) offense led the Eagles past Berea College on Wednesday night in Berea, Ky., 16-4.
Asbury's 18 hits are the most in a game this season, while 16 runs ties a season-high with the opening game of the season against Rockford.
"We weren't able to execute early on, but we got our offense rolling halfway through the game and got a big win. Hopefully we can take this momentum into the weekend."

* Eli Wilder came on in the second inning and gave five innings of work with no runs, six strikeouts and two hits to earn his second win of the season
* Matthew Johnson had four hits with three doubles including three RBIs and three runs scored
* Andrew Billington had three hits with three runs scored
* Kaden Dugle had two doubles with three runs scored and an RBI
* Quinn Nobles had two hits with two RBIs and a stolen base
* Jacob Smith had two hits with a double, RBI, and run scored
* Brody Bearden pitched the final inning with a strikeout and no runs allowed
* Asbury scored three runs in the top of the first and then Berea added four in the bottom to grab the lead
* AU regained the lead in the top of the fourth off three runs and never let it up
* Berea's only runs were in the first inning
* Asbury tied their most runs in a game this season (16), and set a season-high in hits with 18
* AU scored six runs in the seventh to end the game after eight innings

* AU had 18 hits
* Asbury held Berea scoreless after the first inning
