Asbury Uses 28 Point Third Quarter to Take Down UC-Clermont


STORY - THE ESSENTIALS
BATAVIA, Oh.--- 15 points from Abigail Harris and Haleigh Releford partnered with a 28 point third quarter burst proved to be enough, as Asbury women's basketball (9-7) defeated UC-Clermont (6-5), 81-62. The win propels the Eagles to a perfect 2-0 in the new calendar year.

STORY - TOP PERFORMERS
* Haleigh Releford poured in with 15 points (3-7 3PT), six rebounds, and three steals
* Abigail Harris scored 15 points, grabbed seven rebounds, and came away with three steals off the bench
* Trinity Shearer tallied 11 points, six rebounds, and three assists
* Morgan Flannery dished out six assists and gathered four steals
* Ma'Kiya West recorded five points and five rebounds
* Camryn Preston added six points and four rebounds
* UC-Clermont's Victoria Hord led the team in scoring with 16 points and added five assists
