Women's Golf Competes in NCCAA Regional, Heineman and Reis Make All Region Team

CORYDON,
Ky. --- The Asbury women's golf team played in the NCCAA Mideast Regional at Old Capital Golf Club from September 26-27 in Cordyon, In.

The Eagles had a first-day score of 418 due to windy conditions, and the sustained 20+ mile per hour wind was difficult for all teams. Day two saw Junior Maddie Heineman and Freshman Trinity Reis lower their scores and respectfully finish third and fifth.

Oakland City won the event with a two-day total of 715. Both Heineman and Reis received NCCAA All-Region Team honors. Maddie Heineman also received an individual bid in next month's NCCAA National Championship at Hammock Beach's Ocean Course in Palm Coast, Florida. This will be Heineman's first trip to the NCCAA National Championship.
