Quotable
"I cannot believe we just completed our final meet of the regular season," said Head Coach
Alex Keyser. "It seems like just yesterday we were in the Team Suite, having the first team meeting and now we are turning all of our focus to the AAC Championships in two weeks. We had some good racing today against a tough NCAA DIII opponent in Centre College. Coach Brownley has a very impressive team and they are going to do well at the SAA Championships in two weeks.
We raced with effort today, but I can tell we are very tired. We are getting ready to split the team into two groups next week, our Conference Team that is fully tapering for the AAC Championships and the National Team that already has qualified for NAIA Nationals and will be training through our Conference meet. I'm very confident that with a solid taper, we are going to put up some impressive times and have more swimmers qualify for NAIA Nationals."
Next Up
Both teams will compete in the AAC Championship on Feb 13-15 in Kingsport, Tenn.
