Brooke Lincoln is entering her third season as the head coach of the Asbury women's soccer. Last season, Lincoln and the Eagles made yet another appearance in the KIAC Championship game but came up just short against Rio Grande for a repeat title. The Eagles finished the season 11-9 and went 4-2 during the regular season in KIAC play.

Brooke Lincoln went into 2014 with both a regular season and tournament championship under her belt in 2013, her first year with the program. The Eagles finished the 2013 season 4-16 but went on a run through the playoffs and qualified for the NAIA tournament with a 2-1 win over Point Park in the Championship game.

Lincoln was named just the fourth women’s soccer coach and the first female head coach since the program began in 2001.

Lincoln came to Asbury after serving as a graduate assistant at Belhaven University in Jackson, Miss. In 2012 Lincoln helped Belhaven reach the Southern States Athletic Conference Tournament for the first time after joining the league in 2010. The Blazers finished 8th in the highly competitive conference that had the top seed in the NAIA National Tournament.

During Lincoln’s two years with the Blazers, she handled recruiting in the south region as well as in the state of Mississippi. Although a graduate assistant, Lincoln was the only assistant coach on staff and often ran training sessions. She was also charged with coordinating summer camps, bringing in more than 400 campers during the course of the summer as well as 10 teams.

Prior to joining the staff at Belhaven, Lincoln was the head girls’ soccer coach at Terry High School in Terry, Miss., for two years. At Terry, Lincoln guided the squad to the state Final Four for the first time in school history and garnered a ranking as high as No. 6, finishing the year at No. 12.

Lincoln took over a program that finished 5-12-1 prior to her hiring and 3-3 in the Kentucky Intercollegiate Athletic Conference.

The Asbury women’s soccer program has now won seven KIAC regular season titles and six KIAC Tournament titles since 2006 with Lincoln's squad winning both in her first season.

In addition to her coaching duties Lincoln will also serve as a Building Supervisor for the Luce Center, the home to Asbury Athletics and the Health, Physical Education and Recreation department. The Luce Center also serves the surrounding community with memberships for the weight room, pool, gymnasium and racquetball courts.
