Biography
2025-26 (Sophomore): Ethan continued his second year at AU strong, including earning a spot for the second consecutive year in the NCAA National Tournament.
- Became an NCAA First Team All-American when he placed 5th in the 100 Butterfly at the NCAA Championships with a time of 47.74
- Broke the SCAC and Asbury record in the 50 Freestyle with the time of 20.00 at SCAC Championships
- Named swimmer of the meet at the SCAC Championships, winning 1st place in the 100 Butterfly with a time of 47.36, which is a SCAC record
- Won first place in 100 and 200 Freestyle races against Campbellsville

2024-25 (Freshman): Ethan enjoyed a decorated freshman season at Asbury, including earning a spot as the first-ever AU student-athlete in a NCAA National Tournament.
- Became the first Asbury student-athlete in history to become an NCAA All-American when he placed 14th in the 100 fly at the NCAA Championships at a 48.35 time
- Placed 14th overall with a time of 44.67 in the 100 free at the NCAA Championships earning Bonow another school record
- Won first place in 100 and 200 Butterfly races at Lindsey Wilson and UT-Southern
- Broke school record in 100 Freestyle, finishing in 1st place with a time of 45.56 at Centre
- Named swimmer of the meet at the Liberal Arts Championship, winning 1st place in the 11 Freestyle with a time of 45.21, which is a personal best and new school record
