Asbury Swim Highlighted by CSC Academic All-District; Bonow Academic All-America Finalist
GREENWOOD, Ind.--- The 2025-26 Academic All-District® Men's and Women's Swimming teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, included Asbury men's swimming student-athletes Ethan Bonow, Owen Seymour, and Colin Smith and women's swimming student-athletes Ruthie Ward, Claire Hentrup, Morgan Stephenson, and Joy Killingsworth.
The CSC Academic All-District teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom. Each institution is allotted its top four nominations of student-athletes who meet the CSC requirements listed later in this release.
Ethan Bonow an AU business administration major from Crawford, Tx., was selected as a CSC Academic All-American finialist. Bonow has an outstanding sophomore campaign for Asbury finishing fifth in the nation at the NCAA DIII Championships and was a scholar-athlete in the classroom.

To be considered for selection on the Academic All-District Team, a program is allowed to nominate up to four student-athletes that meet the below athletic and academic performance achievements:
- Student-athletes must be at least a sophomore academically.
- Student-athletes must have at least a 3.50 cumulative GPA.
- Student-athletes must compete in 90% of the school's games or have started in at least 66% of the school's games.
- Student-athletes must compete in four competitions or finish top eight at the conference meet.
