Sizemore Earns CCS All-Tournament Recognition

ATLANTA, Ga.--- Women's basketball junior Emily Sizemore, was honored by the Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) for her performance in conference tournament play, earning CCS All-Tournament nods.

Sizemore, a London, Ky., native, led the Eagles in both of AU's tournament games. The elementary education major helped led the Eagles to the CCS Semifinals, Sizemore averaged 20.5 PPG over the tournament. She added 5.4 RPG, 4.5 APG, and 1.5 SPG. She shot an efficient 15-for-28 (53%) from the field, and 10-for-13 (76%) from the free-throw line in postseason play. She lead AU on the year with 20.6 PPG while shooting 50% from the field.

She will help aid the Eagles along the National Christian College Athletics Association (NCCAA) postseason trail, which starts on Wednesday night in the NCCAA Mideast Region Championship. AU will face-off with Alice Lloyd in Wilmore, Ky. at 6 PM, with a trip to the NCCAA National Tournament.
