
DANVILLE, Ky.--- The Asbury track and field continued their spring indoor season on Friday with an indoor meet in Danville, Ky., hosted by Centre College. The meet was highlighted by multiple AU indoor school records and three student-athletes qualifying for the National Christian College Athletics Association (NCCAA) Indoor Track & Field National Championship in February.
Caleb Payne set a new school record in the 60 meter dash of 7.11 seconds which qualified him for the NCCAA National Championship Meet
Manny Dut placed 1st place in the 400 meter dash at a 51.51 time.
Nathan Haglund established a new school record in the Triple Jump event covering 11.54 meters (37'10") with his hop, step & jump.
Bailey Gassmann and Brooke O'Carroll placed first and second in the mile run with times of 5:34.1 and 5:34.4 which qualified both of them for the NCCAA Championship Meet
O'Carroll returned to the track later to claim first place in the 1000 meter run at a 3:22.75 time, while Gassmann ran the 800 meter run in 2:30.9 to add that event to her NCCAA Championship lineup.
