Asbury Women's Basketball Earns NCCAA Scholar-Team Mark
GREENVILLE, S.C.--- Asbury women's basketball, led by seventh-year head coach Chad Mayes, earned the mark of a National Christian College Athletic Association (NCCAA) 2025 Winter Scholar-Team, posting an overall team GPA of 3.47 during the spring semester.
The NCCAA highlighted 21 institutions among the 47 Winter and Spring Scholar Teams, including Asbury softball, women's track and field, men's basketball, and women's basketball. Asbury Athletics earned a 3.41 overall GPA during the 2025 spring semester, marking its sixth consecutive semester with a 3.39 or above GPA.
The standard for NCCAA Scholar Teams is to have earned a combined cumulative GPA of 3.40 or higher after the semester.
