Moore Named CCS Tournament MVP; Ardiles and Caceres Reach All-Tournament Team

ATLANTA, Ga.--- Asbury men's tennis sophomore accounting major Ben Moore was recently named the Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) Tournament MVP, alongside his teammates Ignacio Ardiles and Alejandro Caceres earning All-Tournament team honors. 

Moore, a Winter Park, Fla., native, went 2-0 in singles in the tournament at the No. 3 spot, and also was 1-0 in No. 2 doubles with sophomore partner Andres Caceres. The score was 6-1, 6-1 in Moore's individual win over Belhaven in the semifinal, and then 6-2 , 6-3 over Piedmont in the CCS Championship. 

Ardiles was also undefeated in individuals during the Asbury championship run, defeating Belhaven 6-1, 6-2, and Piedmont 6-4, 6-0. Caceres, a senior captain, earned a key doubles with with Gregorio Busitngorri over Belhaven in the semifinal to secure the doubles point for AU.
