DANVILLE, Ky.--- Asbury track and field completed their indoor season on Saturday at the Centre Indoor Invitational in Danville, Ky., setting multiple new AU school-records with the women finishing seventh place and the men taking ninth of 12 teams.
National Christian College Athletics Association (NCCAA) All-American
Brendan Funke took first place in the Shot Put competition over 32 competitors from 12 different schools, setting a new AU school-record of 48' in the event. Funke, a junior media communications major from East Amherst, NY., finished third last weekend for All-American honors in the NCCAA Indoor National Championship.
Also establishing new school record standards for Asbury were the student-athletes listed below.

Mikayle Riccio | Fr. Biology: 60 meters 8.55 seconds
Ambria Mack | Fr. Pre-Nursing: 400 meters 1:04.11
Brooke O'Carroll | Jr. Elementary Education: 600 meters 1:45.49
Cosette Meloon Fr. Art & Design: Long Jump 4.41 meters
August Price | Jr. Sport Management: Shot Put 9.88 meters

The Asbury track and field team will now prepare toward the outdoor season beginning on March 21 and 22 in Statesboro, Ga., at the Georgia Southern Invitational.
