Men's Soccer Earns NCCAA Mideast All-Region Honors

GREENVILLE, SC.--- The National Christian College Athletics Association (NCCAA) released the 2025 Men's Soccer Mideast All-Region Team including six student-athletes from Asbury men's soccer sport management major Jon Gordon, exercise science major Tyson Absher, finance major Aiden Fish, exercise science major Dru Lile, and marketing major Eli Redpath.

Gordon, a senior defender from Richmond, Ky., started 14 matches for the Eagles and was fourth on the team with 1,282 minutes played. He anchored the back line to six clean sheets while scoring two goals, including a game-winning goal. The team captain put up seven shots on target during the season.

Absher, a freshman forward from Somerset, Ky., started all 18 matches and led the team with eight goals. He totaled 18 points with two assists and added two game-winning goals in his debut season. Absher also led the team with 23 shots on goal. 

Fish, a junior defender from Fleming Island, Fl., logged a team-high 1,540 minutes. He finished tied for second on the team with two assists, added five shots on goal, and helped guide the Eagles to six clean sheets.

Lile, a freshman midfielder from Crofton, Ky., recorded one goal while putting five of his 12 shots on goal for a .417 shots-on-goal percentage.

Redpath, a freshman forward from Madisonville, Ky., ranked second on the team with six goals while adding two assists and one game-winning goal. He registered 21 shots on goal during the season.
