Bluegrass Orthopaedics Student-Athletes of the Week
WILMORE, Ky. --- Asbury men's cross country junior worship arts major,
Josh Rittgers, and volleyball senior biology pre-nursing major,
Lucy Kate Gray, have been named the Asbury Student-Athletes of the week, presented by Bluegrass Orthopaedics Sports Medicine.
Josh Rittgers | Men's Cross Country
Rittgers, a Orrville, Ohio, native, turned in his strongest performance of the season at the Maryville Invitational, placing 10th individually with a time of 29:00. The Eagles next meet is on October 31 at the Collegiate Conference of the South (CCS) Championships in Huntsville, Ala.
Lucy Kate Gray | Volleyball
Gray, a Lexington, Ky., native, had 18 assists and eight digs in a match against Maryville, then followed up with 20 assists and seven digs against Huntingdon before adding 18 assists and two service aces in the win over Piedmont. Asbury will travel to Berea College on Wednesday night at 7 pm.
