AU had 14 hits with no errors in game one of the day to beat Alice Lloyd after dropping the first game of the tournament on Wednesday against Alice Lloyd. Turning around to face the 40-win Oakland City host team, Asbury committed no errors again but gave up 10 hits and four runs in the first three innings. "It was a tough day as our season came to an end. We battled in game one and was able to pull it out to get us to the championship vs Oakland City. In game two we had a lot of pitchers throw well for us and give us a chance, but we came up a little short. It was a good season with a great group of guys."

* The Eagles had six hits with no errors while OCU had 10 hits and no errors
* OCU scored three in the second and one in the third to go ahead 4-0
* Asbury got within one in the sixth when freshman
Aaron Beaman blasted a three-run home run, making the game 4-3
* OCU responded in the top of the seventh with three more runs to go ahead 7-3, the lead they kept
