VandeSchraaf Awarded NCCAA First Team All-American
GREENVILLE, SC.--- The National Christian College Athletics Association (NCCAA) announced Asbury volleyball freshman outside hitter Isabelle VandeSchraaf as a First Team All-American on Thursday afternoon.

VandeSchraaf, a equine science major from Germantown Hills, Ill., led the NCCAA in kills per set (4.16) and also points per set (4.63). She was first in the Collegiate Conference of the South with 423 kills, and fourth in the CCS with 342 digs. VandeSchraaf was also named once this season as the NCCAA National Student-Athlete of the Week, and earn CCS Rookie of the Year as well as AVCA Region 4 Freshman of the Year Honors.
VandeSchraaf finished her historic season with 16 double-doubles, including five matches each of 20-plus kills and 20-plus digs. She boasted a career-high 24 digs against Earlham on August 31, 2024 and set the school-record for kills in a match with 28 kills in the AU win at No. 23 Centre on September 24, in Danville, Ky.
Asbury volleyball finished the 2024 season with a 21-8 record, their most in a season since 2015, behind the leadership of head coach Tiffany Horton. The Eagles claimed the CCS regular season title and earned a trip to the CCS Semifinals during the campaign.
