DANVILLE, Ky.--- Asbury senior media communications major Ian Wang took a second-place finish in the men's 100 breaststroke and a third-place finish in the 200 butterfly to lead AU men's (fifth place) and women's (fourth place) in the Colonel Classic in Danville, Ky. The women's racked fifth place in the 200 freestyle relay as well.

The Eagles collected five top-five finishes at the Colonel Classic with Wang tallying three of those in his 50 free, 100 breast, and 200 butterfly.

"This is always a fun experience. I was hoping to give us an opportunity to finish up our Christmas training with a quality meet and some quality racing. I am always impressed with the fight we showed and the way we were able to race despite being beaten up and tired. This is the start of the final phase of our season and I'm excited to see how things go!"
