WILMORE, Ky.--- Asbury senior education major Clayton Winter scored 15 points with 14 rebounds to lead Asbury men's basketball (11-8) to a 5-0 start at home, as they beat CU-Harrodsburg (12-5) on Tuesday night in the Asbury Luce Center, 85-80. 

AU went 19-22 from the free-throw line and out-rebounded CUH 40-26 to take their fifth win of five home games this season. Dakota Walden poured in 17 points to lead AU while Aiden Slone went 6-9 for 15 points as well. 

Before the game Asbury senior guard Caleb Wallis was honored for 1,000 career collegiate points, as well as Clayton Winter being honored for his school-record 32 rebounds on December 16th against Crowleys Ridge.

* Clayton Winter scored 15 points with 14 rebounds for his seventh double-double
* Dakota Walden led AU with 17 points and grabbed four rebounds with three assists
* Aden Slone went 6-9 from the field for 15 points with three boards and two steals
* Ben McNew made three three-pointers and made all four free-throws to score 13 points with five rebounds and a steal
* Caleb Wallis scored 11 points with four assists and five rebounds
* Cayden Lancaster had five rebounds
* Luke Imfeld scored six points with an assist
* CUH guard Lewis Richards scored 35 points, shooting 12-17 from the field and 8-9 from the line


* AU out-scored CUH 44-38 in the first half, CUH out-scored AU 42-41 in the second half
* Asbury now leads the series with CUH 4-2 in the last three seasons, 3-0 at home
* Five Asbury players scored in the double-digits
* AU shot above 85% from the line for the seventh game this season
* Four AU players had at least five rebounds, Winter with 14
* AU came back from trailing 76-70 with 4:23 to go
* Asbury scored 15 second chance points, CUH scored two


* Asbury went 19-22 from the line to shoot 85%, taking them to 79% on the year. CUH shot 12-19 from the line
* Asbury shot above 40% from three in both halves


Asbury will play at home on Friday night at 7 pm on The Kessinger Lee Group Night against Kuyper College for their third straight home game.
