LOUISVILLE, Ky.--- Haleigh Releford and
Camryn Preston each scored 22 points to help ignite a high-powered Asbury (12-7) offense over Simmons College (6-12), 82-75. The win propelled AU to 5-0 since the calendar turn and continues the Eagles win streak to five games.

Haleigh Releford tied for a team-high 22 points (8-15 FG) and grabbed five rebounds

Camryn Preston tied for a team-high 22 points (8-12 FG) and recorded five rebounds

Celia Pelfrey added ten points (2-4 3PT) and three steals

Camryn Poole scored six points off the bench and dished three assists

Ma'Kiya West added another five points off the bench

Morgan Flannery dished three assists and grabbed four steals

Spencer Harvey pulled down a team-high nine rebounds and scored five points
* The Falcons were led by Morgan Defoor who scored 22 points

* Asbury shot a season-high 54% from the field (29-54) and 40% from three (10-24)
* Simmons shot 46% from the field (27-59) and 29% from three (5-17)
* AU converted 26 points in the paint while SC had 38
* There were zero lead changes throughout the game with the Eagles leading all 40 minutes of action
* Asbury scored 14 of their points at the free throw line shooting 67% (14-21)

Camryn Preston capped off a big first quarter with a three-pointer to take the lead to 28-12 headed into the second quarter

Celia Pelfrey led the second quarter with a 7-0 run of her own to take the score to 38-19 with 5:32 left
* Simmons was able to cut the lead down to three points with 5:30 left in the fourth quarter
* From then on AU outscored SC 12-8, eight of those points coming from the charity stripe
* Asbury left Louisville with a 82-75 victory over Simmons College of Kentucky
* The win gives the Eagles a 2-0 sweep over the Falcons this season

* AU turned 14 Simmons turnovers into 16 points
* The Eagles out-rebounded the Falcons, 29-23
* Asbury recorded 7 steals as a team
* The SC bench outscored the AU bench, 29-20
* Asbury turned the ball over only 12 times as a team
