SEWANEE, Tn. --- Ariadna Zegarra, Martina Paillet, and Fernanda Heredia each took wins for Asbury women's tennis in ITA Regionals to finish the 2023 fall season. 

Zegarra and Paillet teamed up in the doubles round of 32 to beat NCW, 8-7 (7). The duo fell in the round of 16 to Emory University. 

In the Main Draw Singles competition Pailett defeating BSC (6-4,6-3) in the round of 64 while Zegarra defeated Piedmont (6-4, 6-3) in the same round. Paillet was defeated by Sewanee and Zegarra to Emory in the round of 32. 

Fernanda Heredia defeated Oglethorpe for Asbury in the Purple Draw round of 32 (6-4, 6-4), making her way to the remaining 16 women. Going all the way to a tie-breaking set, Heredia fell to Millsaps (6-4, 4-6, 0-1). 

Asbury women's tennis completes their 2023 fall season with strong returners and exciting youth to head into the 2024 spring campaign.

Asbury will compete next in the 2024 spring season after their two fall tournaments.
