WILMORE, KY. — The Asbury University women's lacrosse team losses by double digits to Linfield University.
The first quarter started high scoring, with Linfield claiming five goals and Asbury responding with 3. In the second quarter, Linfield scored nine goals establishing their heavy lead for the remainder of the game. Asbury held Linfield to 5 goals in the third quarter and got one for themselves. The final quarter was the more balanced, being 3-2, with Linfield still scoring more but making the final score 22-6.
Top Performers:
* Grace Tatro scored five goals of the six goals for the Eagles. Tatro scored two of the three goals in the first half and another two in the second half.
* Elsie Kopczynski slowed Linfield as she could collecting seven saves in the loss.
* Hannah Biegert scored a goal with four seconds left on the clock to help Asbury bring their deficit down to two going into the second quarter.

* Linfield only had three turnovers, and Asbury had double with six turnovers for the day.
* The Eagles had seven saves while Linfield only had two the entire game.
