Birmingham, Ala. — The Eagles leave the nest and run into some Birmingham-Southern Panthers, losing 1-16 in General Charles C. Krulak Stadium.

Asbury's defense adjusted and managed to slow down the Panther offensive attack; holding the Birmingham Southern College to one goal in the third, and three in fourth quarter. This game ended 1-16, placing the Eagles record at 0-5 for the first half of the season.
