BARBOURVILLE, Ky.--- Asbury University men's and women's swimming competed in their third meet of the 2022-23 season on Friday evening. The Eagles were hosted by the Union Bulldogs in a dual meet that included the Eagles, Bulldogs, and the Milligan Buffalos.
AU split in their meet, as both the men's and women's teams took the victory over Union, and fell to Milligan.
The women's team defeated the Bulldogs 198-6, and were outmatched by Milligan 60-201.
The men's team edged out Union 151-36, and fell to the Buffalos 51-204.
The Eagles demonstrated the crisp talent that they have added to the men's and women's teams this season, as two freshmen took first for the team.
It was Emme Johnson to take first place in the women's 100 backstroke, and in the men's 100 freestyle, it was Braden Vincent to bring home the first place victory for AU.

The Eagles will next travel to Danville Ky., on November 5, to compete in a dual meet.
The meet will be hosted by Centre College, who will be a participant in the meet, as well as Berry College.
The competition will kick off at 1 pm.
