MARYVILLE, TN - Asbury Men's Basketball traveled to Maryville, TN on Wednesday night to take on the #24 ranked Scots. This was a challenging matchup for the Eagles going on the road against a ranked opponent, on top of that AU had three prospective starters not available. Asbury battled heavily for the first half keeping it very tight, but Maryville would eventually pull away in the second half to a victory of 85-63 over the Eagles. 

Top Performers:
*Clayton Winter continues to impress as a freshman for Asbury, providing a double-double tonight with 14 points and 13 rebounds.
*Eric Powell would also add 14 points, while collecting 4 rebounds and 4 assists. 

Key Stats:
* Asbury played a very solid first half putting 34 points on the board, and keeping it within 6.
* The Eagles were able to knock down some shots from distance, making 4 in each half adding to a total of 8 threes for the game. 
* Maryville would prevail by consistently succeeding in their penetration on the night as they ended up with 48 points in the paint.
