WILMORE, Ky. --- Asbury Men's Basketball returned to their home court on Thursday night, hosting The Crown College in the Luce Center. It was obvious early that the Eagles were glad to be back as they came out ready to play, scoring 45 points in the first half. Asbury would continue to play well throughout the contest as they would come away with a victory of 96-43 over Crown. Asbury was hitting on all cylinders on offense as they were able to reach their highest scoring total of the season.
Top Performers:
· Junior Nick Fort had a very dominant night, recording a double-double with 24 points & 14 rebounds.
· Freshman Clayton Winter once again was in double figures as he added 10 points to the Eagles.
· Freshman Ben McNew also had a big night scoring 10 points and grabbing 4 rebounds off the glass.
· Asbury got great contribution from their bench receiving 45 points for the guys off the bench.
