FRANKFORT, Ky. - The Asbury University team hit the road on Wednesday night to play against Division II team Kentucky State. The Eagles had an impressive second half being behind 13 points to taking the lead with a final score of 76-69.

AU is now on a winning streak of three games and has improved their overall record to 3-1. 
 

Highlights:
* Autumn Herriford had an impressive game, almost having a triple-double; she led Asbury with a game-high 29 points, nine rebounds, and eight assists.
* Kentucky state outscored AU in the first half, but AU rallied back from a 13 point deficit to lead in the second half.
* Turnovers were costly for the Thoroughbreds, which the Eagles took to their advantage.
* AU's defense was solid and a critical component for the Eagles to win the match. 

Key Stats:

* Paige Taylor ended the night with 17 points and seven rebounds.
* As a team, AU was able to keep their turnover's down lower than Kentucky State.
* Trinity Shearer also contributed to the sea columns with 20 points and six steals.
