CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky. – The Asbury University tennis teams collected their first wins of the 2020 season on Saturday evening at Thomas More.
The men's team won 7-0 and the women claimed a 6-1 victory.
Both teams won at least two of the three doubles matches to earn a point and a 1-0 advantage before singles action. The men's team swept doubles action as
Joshua Turnquest and
Felipe Penuela pulled out a tiebreaker victory at No. 1 doubles to preserve the sweep.
In singles play, the women didn't drop a set in all five of their singles victories.
